Mission Statement

"The mission of the South Fulton Police Department is to provide protection and service to the citizens of South Fulton. To suppress criminal activity, provide a climate of safety and security to all its citizens without regard to race, color, religion, ethnicity, gender, age or sexual orientation."

Police Chief

DARE Program

Lt David Lamb has been the DARE Instructor for the school system since 1991.  He also serves as vice president of the West Tennessee DARE Association.

The Police Department is actively fighting the war on drugs in our community. We  support the 27th Judicial Drug Task Force in which the police chief serves as a member of the board of directors, West Tennessee Meth Task Force  which is under the direction of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee. The department also has a K-9 program that has been in service since 1998.

Neighborhood Watch

We offer a Neighborhood Watch program in which the police and the community can work together to help make our neighborhoods safer. The officers perform security checks for residents  who have to be away from their home for any reason.
