Cities of South Fulton-Fulton
Both
towns are located on the Tennessee-Kentucky state line. South
Fulton, population approximately 2500, is in Obion
County, northwest Tennessee. Fulton, population
approximately 2800, is in Fulton County, southwest
Kentucky. Within the surrounding 25 mile radius
area, the population totals over 125,000. The Twin

United Community
South
Fulton and Fulton are joined in many ways, from community activities
to mutual endeavors promoting continued growth. There are
four schools between the cities, two Middle/High
Schools and two Elementary. Each municipality has its
own police and fire departments working together
providing a safe and secure community.

Services
Utilities
are available
in both towns and include electricity, natural gas,
sewage, sanitation, and water. The utility sources are
independent in each town. Weekly trash collection is
provided by both towns through agreements with Barker
Brothers in Troy, TN. South Fulton and Fulton both
have updated sewage treatment facilities designed and
built for stricter requirements than mandated by Federal
Government, EPA and state guidelines. Both electric
systems' source is from Tennessee Valley Authority
(TVA).
Agriculture Products consist
primarily of cattle, hogs, soybeans, and corn. There are
also many horse stables on hand. Primary mineral resources
are sand, gravel and ball clay. Planning

town is independent and both have zoning ordinances,
building codes and five member planning commissions.
Both towns also have their own Industrial Parks and
